Settle In & Agriturismo Day

Early dinner at the agriturismo if included in stay, or the nearest village trattoria — pasta, bread, simple Tuscan food at its best.
Siena
Drive to Siena (timing depends on agriturismo location). Arrive at the Piazza del Campo at 9:30am before tour groups. The children own the piazza.
Duomo exterior and immediate surroundings — the scale overwhelms productively. Return to agriturismo by 13:30 for nap.
Dinner at the agriturismo or a Siena neighbourhood restaurant — the Terzo di San Martino quarter has good family options away from the tourist piazza.
San Gimignano & Gelateria Dondoli
San Gimignano at 9am (it fills up quickly). Walk the main street, enter the towers if children allow, photograph the skyline from the walls.
Gelateria Dondoli — the queue moves fast and the gelato is worth it. Return by 14:00 for nap.
Val d'Orcia evening drive — the Cypress Alley near Monticchiello at golden hour is one of the most beautiful sights in Europe. Short, driveable, unforgettable.
