Alcúdia Bay Beach Day
Alcúdia Bay from 9am — arrive before the heat peak. Shallow entry, paddling for the smallest children, space for everyone. Beach bar for snacks.
Return to accommodation for nap by 13:30. Afternoon: explore Alcúdia walled town — the Roman amphitheatre, the medieval walls, the market square.
Early dinner in Alcúdia — the restaurants inside the walled town are better value and more atmospheric than Port d'Alcúdia.
Caves of Drach
Drive to Porto Cristo (45 min from Alcúdia). Caves of Drach — pre-book the 11am tour. The cave concert and underground lake are 45 minutes of genuine wonder. The wooden slide at the end: significant.
Porto Cristo beach for lunch and swimming — small cove, calm water. Return by 15:00 for nap.
Dinner in Alcúdia. Wednesday market evening version if midweek — the town square fills with craft stalls.
Sóller Train & Palma
Vintage Sóller train from Palma at 10:40 (book in advance). 60 minutes through mountain tunnels and orange groves. Sóller market town, orange juice from the grove.
Return train to Palma, 30-minute walk along the waterfront to see the Cathedral exterior. Return to Alcúdia.
Final Alcúdia dinner. The sunset from the top of the old town walls is the ideal end to a Mallorca week.
