Lake Como rewards families who slow down. The Varenna–Bellagio ferry triangle keeps toddlers entranced by water, mountains and movement, while the flat lakefront promenade in Varenna is a stroller paradise. Villages are small enough to feel contained, gelato is everywhere, and the lake itself — impossibly blue, glacier-fed — is the daily entertainment.
