Edinburgh is not the easiest city with a stroller — the Old Town has cobblestones and closes that require carrying — but it is one of the most dramatically beautiful cities in Europe for families. The National Museum of Scotland is free, enormous and has interactive children's galleries that occupy under-6s for hours. Plan stroller routes in advance and the city reveals itself as deeply rewarding.
Is Edinburgh good for families with children aged 0–6?
